Job Summary:
The Senior Account Manager – Cybersecurity (Sales Engineer) is responsible for driving sales of cybersecurity solutions by developing strong client relationships, understanding technical requirements, and delivering tailored security solutions. This role blends sales expertise with technical acumen to position the company’s cybersecurity offerings effectively and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to drive cybersecurity sales.
Understand customer security needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Work closely with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to deliver proof-of-concept demonstrations.
Develop account strategies, manage sales cycles, and close deals.
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and competitor offerings.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Achieve and exceed sales quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 5+ years in cybersecurity sales or technical sales engineering.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint security, cloud security).
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Communication: Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Certifications: Security+ / CISSP / CISM / vendor-specific certs (a plus).
